Ordering Your Repeat Medication
Telephone requests for repeat prescriptions are not accepted for safety reasons.
If you use the online form below you need to enter the details of the items that you are requesting, enter details to identify yourself, and enter your email address if you wish to receive an email confirming the details of your request.
Non-urgent advice: Notice
You need to allow TWO (2) full working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) for us to process your prescription request.
Alternatively, you may leave a supply of Stamped Addressed Envelopes (SAEs) with the receptionist (in advance), and select the option to indicate that you would like the prescription to be posted using one of your envelopes. Please allow time for delays in the post. If you select that option but do not have any SAEs left at reception, then the prescription will be kept for you to collect from the Surgery in the usual way.
You can also choose for your prescription to be sent electronically to any chemist of your choice. Just add a freetext note below informing us where you want your prescription to be sent.
On account of the Data Protection Act and confidentiality issues, any patient wishing for someone else to collect their prescription will have the give the Practice signed consent. Reception staff will not be able to hand a prescription over to anyone collecting on someone’s behalf without prior consent. In addition, we are unable to hand out prescriptions to any person under the age of 16 on someone else’s behalf.
- Not to telephone us with requests, except in cases of severe incapacity.
- If you use the computerised slip attached to your prescription for re-ordering, only tick the items you require.
- Alternatively, if ordering online, to fill in all the information we ask for so that your request is clear.
- To recognise that, on occasions, you may be asked to attend for review with the doctor or nurse before your prescription is issued.
